Vicwood Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is one of the companies under our group and possesses the largest veneer and plywood manufacturing facilities in Asia. Our modern and sophisticated operation is located in Suzhou, China and consists of eleven separate plants and several thousand full-time workers. We have two ordinary plywood plants with ten rotary lines, one fancy plywood plant, one fine-line veneered plywood plant and one engineered wood flooring plant. We also have over forty slicing machines (including thirty Cremonas from Italy) which provide our customers with a stable quality and supply of sliced veneered products. With our lumber, flooring, fancy plywood, mouldings and veneer products, we are able to match the requirements of the construction, door & window and furniture-making industries. Our products are exported to Europe, the U.S. & Canada, Central and South America, the Middle East and Asia.

Today Vicwood Group is the largest world producer of plywood and timber products. Current production is concentrated in East Asia, Europe, North America and Africa. Panels and various wood products are distributed and consumed in over 75 countries including the United States, Canada, Central and South America, the UK, China, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Spain, Italy, Germany and other countries in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Vicwood Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is counted among the top 500 FIEs in China and is regarded as a major technologically-advanced enterprise in Jiangsu province. The company has imported hi-tech equipment from Germany, Japan and Italy and imports top-quality logs to produce veneer, plywood, lumber and flooring. Its full annual production capacity can exceed 200,000 m3. Located in Vicwood Industrial City in the Suzhou New and High Technology Industrial Development Zone of Jiangsu Province, Vicwood enterprises, including Tak Wah Building Material (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Viclord Timber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and Vicwood Building Material (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., occupy a total area of 1.2 square kilometers, representing a total investment of several hundred million U.S. Dollars. These enterprises form an integrated chain of new decorative materials to service the construction and interior decoration industry.Vicwood Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is the largest wood-processing enterprise of Vicwood Group's investments in China and is also the largest engineered wood manufacturer in the world. Our company, comprised of local and overseas experts, engineers and technicians with excellent backgrounds in their individual fields of study, under the personal guidance of our founder and Chairman, Dr. Vicwood K.T. Chong, imports high grade logs and processes them into various kinds of environmentally conscious, high quality wood products. With an annual production capacity of over two hundred thousand cubic meters, we offer a wide range of wood products based on engineered wood. Our registered brand names include Super A, Vicwood, Vic's Ply, Victoria and Bird of Lake Tai. With an emphasis on product quality, our principal goals are “innovative products, excellent quality, first rate service and honesty.” Based on our set targets, an all-in quality assurance system has now been set up. We have been certified in compliance with the ISO9001:2000 National Quality Management System Standard and the ISO14001:2006 National Environment Management System Standard. Our products are recognized as “China Environmental Labeled Products” by the Chinese National Environmental Protection Bureau, our enterprise as a “Green Decorative Products Manufacturer” by the China Interior Decoration Association, and a “Model of Innovation-Based Enterprise” by the China Overseas Chinese Alliance. Among our products, Super A and Vicwood veneered panels, plywood and engineered flooring have been elected as “National Renowned Brand Names.” Our reconstituted decorative materials collection, which is the primary product range of our company, fills the niche for its kind in China. It has been jointly designated as a “national important new product” by five national institutions: the Ministry of Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Bureau of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the General Bureau of Environmental Protection and the General Bureau of National Taxation. In 2002, due to our achievement in the research and development of reconstituted decorative materials, our company was appointed by the China National Forestry Bureau to compile the National Forestry Industry Professional Standard LY/T1655-2006 for Reconstituted Decorative Material. In 2003 we were assigned a research project for this product under the national “Torch Program.” In October 2004, our experience in the production of reconstituted decorative materials was compiled into a book called “Engineered Wood - Reconstituted Decorative Materials,” which was published and distributed by the China Forestry Publishing Company. It is now used as a text book by universities and academies of forestry. Its chief editor, Dr. Vicwood K.T. Chong, (our founder and Group Chairman) was honored as the father of engineered wood in China for his work on this publication, and he has been elected a leader in advanced technology by Chinese national institutions. Currently, engineered wood manufactured by our company represents 60% of the world's total production and the new products we have introduced in engineered wood represent 80% of world innovation in this material. As one of the world's largest enterprises of reconstituted decorative materials, Vicwood Industry has been, and continues to be, deeply involved in the development of the wood processing industry by encouraging the vigorous growth of related industries, such as the plantation of fast growing timber species, the manufacturing of molds, etc. We are a milestone enterprise in the history of China's timber-processing industry. The endeavors of our company have been cited by ecological experts as “saving natural forests through science and technology.” We use green, environmentally conscious raw materials, always focus on environmental protection and energy saving, and utilize fast growing wood as raw material in the production of decorative materials. In 2006 our company was awarded “FSC/COC Chain of Custody Certification” in manufacturing and distribution. (FSC/COC tracks and certifies forest products from the forest where they originate through the successive stages of logging, transportation, transformation and distribution until they arrive in the hands of consumers. As the process from origin to consumption forms a chain, the certification of forest products is also known as “Certification of the Chain of Custody in Production and Distribution”). This certification formally earmarks our company as a member of the FSC/COC family. We make the protection of forests, the enhancement of profitability and the promotion of progress our responsibility. After the experience of twenty years of development, our company is now able to combine the double merits of R&D and profitability. The standard compliance of our products achieves or surpasses the levels of similar products in Europe and Japan. Our products - which have achieved a formaldehyde emission rate of E0 grade (less than 0.5 mg / L), have acquired a 50% share of the world market and are exported to over 75 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia, etc. - have obtained world-wide recognition and fame. The technologies developed by our company have recorded several breakthroughs in China. We have applied for seven patents in China, one international PCT patent, and currently hold 217 other patents. In 2006, our company Chairman was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at both the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Man-made Panels and the China Association of Forestry Industry.
